Mission Statement of Teen Think Tanks of America, Inc.

The Mission of Teen Think Tanks of America, Inc. is three-fold:

I. To Give Teenagers a Voice

Teenagers have a lot to say about school violence and other issues.  They just don't have an opportunity to say it.  They have good insights and strong opinions.  Many teenagers will not express themselves publicly for fear of rejection or ridicule.  Teen Think Tanks of America, Inc. conducts, through its Teen Think Tanks, an innovative and unique way of giving a voice to the teens of America and sharing their opinions with governmental leaders from City Hall to the White House.

II. To Empower Teenagers with tools and skills for successful adulthood.

Teenagers are asking for help.  They want skills in decision-making, conflict and anger management, communications, personal management, and leadership.  Teen Think Tanks of America, Inc., through its Teen Empowerment Symposia, gives teens transferable skills for taking control of their lives.

III. To provide an Internet Forum for collecting and sharing the opinions of teenagers.

Using the widely-used capacity of the Internet to share ideas and gather information, Teen Think Tanks of America, Inc. lets teens everywhere share their opinions on issues through on-line surveys.  Results of Teen Think Tanks are routinely made available to all through their web site,
